Telemachus and the Losers
"Alright alright, let's all go on an adventure together!" -Aurion to Kane and Eatos
Aurion is a slightly sarcastic, headstrong, but kind mercenary. Average human build with short messy black hair with black eyes and wearing a black cloak, he is clearly a sneakier type of person. He also appears to have some pride in his capabilities but is willing to defer to someone who is superior to him in a specific area, be it knowledge or combat. Other than that not much else is known about Aurion. He seems to have a soft spot to orphanages and orphans though.

General Equipment: Light armor with twin short swords. A small plethora of daggers and his treasured shortbow.
Fighting style: Generally Aurion tries to skirt around the battlefield, shooting at exposed vitals on distracted enemies. A cautious fighter, he tends to wait for the opprotunity to strike, be it with a tripping kick followed by a stab to the neck, or flanking foes to create openings for the rest of the party. While he doesn’t mind getting close to the foe, he definitely prefers a long range encounter if possible. It should be noted that Aurion, if push comes to shove, will put his life on the line for the betterment of the party.
. Aurion was originally from a small peaceful trading town in the woods. His mother was a school teacher, his father the local swordsman, his 2 older sisters were sort of medicinal women of sorts. He was closest to his oldest brother Varen who taught him quite a few sneaky tricks. On Aurion’s 14th birthday his home was slaughtered by bandits (He wants revenge for this obviously). After he buried his own family and friends, he wandered around and managed to get to another small town where he was taken in by the local dwarven armour smith. (hence why he speaks dwarven). Over time he began to come out of his shell and met Eatos, an elven man who he became good friends with. Aurion later joined the local militia and while on an average patrol run, he ran into a mysterious silver haired girl. Naturally he took her in and found out that she has no memory except for her name, Kane (pronounced Ka- Neigh). Eatos, Aurion and Kane became three close friends, but all three eventually became dissatisfied with the mundane village life and decided to go off on an adventure. Eatos wanted to go off on his own however, to see how he stacked on his own. So Kane would tag along with Aurion. However, Aurion wasn’t entirely confident in Kane’s abilities. So he asked his surrogate father to delay her as he and Eatos went their separate paths. However, before the two close friend’s left, Aurion gave Eatos his father’s sword and Eatos gave Aurion his mother’s Shortbow, with the intention of if they ever meet again, they will return the items.
Goals: Aurion has three things motivating him to travel
1. Explore the world and learn more about it in general
2. Get vengeance on the bandits who burned down his home
3. Find a way to restore Kane’s memories.
These three things are what keep him traveling around. Honestly, if they weren’t so shady, he probably would have given the orbs to the psychics,
Uto: Aurion, while not a religious man himself, respects those who old religion sacred so long as they do not try to shove it down his throat. He hold Uto with respect, after all sticking to one’s word and code is very commendable in his eyes. Where he may disagree would be on his view of law. Where Uto would follow the law to the letter, Aurion feels that since law was created by mortals with flaws, it must have flaws as well. Therefore Aurion doesn’t hold the law in any regard. In spite of this, Aurion will have Uto’s back if he needs it.
Drinian: As with Uto, Aurion respects Drinian’s religious beliefs. Be from a village that primarily worships Elonna, he is reminded of people from his village in Drinian. He also commends on Drinian’s archery and sort of views Drinian as a measurement for his own archery capabilities.
Telemachus: Aurion holds Telemachus also in high regard. Being able to throw off any authority and not letting others sway one’s personal beliefs is admirable, even if it can cause unnecessary violence. He acknowledges Telemachus as a superior close quarters combatant than himself. In fact, Aurion picked up his two weapon fighting from observing Telemachus fight. As a result, Aurion views Telemachus as a standard to be met and eventually surpassed.
Raggdaesh: While Raggdaesh’s insane spontaneity drives Aurion insane. It also reminds him of his older brother. He finds it amazing that someone can have so much energy and even more amazing that he can fight without armor or weapons. He views Raggdaesh as a close friend who he would fight very hard for.
Kadajj: Aurion finds Kadajj and Kalu to be humorous. In particular with their daily squabbles. While he may not have the patience to study it, he acknowledges the power of the arcane and would be more than willing to lend a hand to Kadajj if necessary.
Avery: Considering he just met Avery, Aurion doesn’t entirely trust him. He will acknowledge his arcane knowledge and his overall intelligence, but as to his own agenda, Aurion views him a sort of a neutral party. Not quite a threat to be eliminated, but not a person to be trusted either. until Avery does something that warrants it, Aurion wont let him die.
Laverna(sp) : Aurion puts Laverna in the same category as Avery. Not a real threat, but not to be trusted either. You can bet because of Laverna, Aurion is going to be putting a tighter tie around his money satchel. So long as she doesn’t do anything to deserve his distrust, Aurion will not actively harm her.
Texas : To be honest, Aurion doesn’t really know WHAT to think about Texas. Hes definitely a strong fighter and a solid combative mind, but since his “episode” in the pyramids, he will probably be keeping a closer eye on him, if only to make sure nothing happens to him or the rest of the party.
Raven: Aurion sees Raven as sort of an older brother figure for Raggdeash and as such, he will help Raven if only to help keep Raggdaesh under control. He again, woudln’t let Raven die if he had anything to say about it.
Kane: (pronounced Ka-Neigh), While Aurion doesn’t really mention his home too much, he does mention that his “father” is a dwarf and he lived with him and a girl named Kane. He seems to be particularly fond of her.
